OK well Its been...Quite a while, & well I'll be honest I kinda went brain-dead & forgot about my account, any who Im starting my reviews back up
but I still won't be around too much, this time around ive got 3 titles so heres my big BANG! back to the forums, enjoy!
1st off.....
ClaymoreV1: What can I say....THIS MANGA IS GREAT! In a decade where manga & comics alike are filled with ditzy oversized fanservice gals, Claymore shows us that theres still Females in comicbookland that can kick collective a$$ . Claymore is the Story of clare a young femlae knight who is part human, part demon, clare is part of an organization that fights human-eating Monsters known as yoma. Clare here self is one of the best portrayel of a female hero ive seen in a long time, beautiful, intelligent & tough, all bring out the best in this female warrior as she battles the scourge of the yoma, & then theres here side-kick rocky, but he's a whiny lil B%&#h so im not gonna talk about him, the 1st Volume Basically sets up the world of claymore while forshadowing for for future volumes, if you havn't picked this manga up yet...WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!! I kid but seriously this is a great series & proves that mang-ka's can indeed write competiant female characters.

Case Closed V29
OK, Case Closed is one of my favriote Manga & Anime series of all time, so I thought i would review the latest volume, & it can be summed up in 5 words, women, puppies, soccer, explosion & Action. OK a real explination, for those of u who don't know Case closed (or Detective conan as its called in japan ) Is the story of Detective Jimmy Kudo, high-school gum-shoe who gets caught ease dropping on some thugs who knock him out, drug him & when he wakes up the drug has caused his body to reduce to the state of a child, in an attempt to hide from the mysterious Men in black that tried to kill him & to keep on doing what he does best, jimmy moves in with his girlfriend rachel & her not so bright detective father Richerd moore,under the allias Conan Edogawa conan helps richard become a famous detective in hopes of getting case that will lead him to the men in black, he also makes new friends who form the Jounior detective leauge who, with the help of the inventions of Conans friend Prof. Agasa solve various mysteries on there own. Later Conan is joined by Manic Depresive Ex-Organization Member Ai Harabara who escapped the clutches of the evil syndacite after taking the pill used on conan to regrese to child form, Ai is working hard to make a cure all the while dealing with here sisters death & her fear of the organizationm meanwhile the body's are stacking up as murders in villians all over the globe commit hanious deeds, can conan crack the case & save the day!!!??? (& in japan thi is a kids comic!) anywho this volume involves a story of a kidnapped puppy a murderous soccer player & a bus highjacking that ends in an exlpsion..over all a very enjoyable read, but not the best volume of CC ive read.

Dark Reign: Zodiac #1 (of 3)
Well, Normen Osborns reign of the Marvel U continues as the Hero's heroicly fight back, but what about the villians DR: Zodiac shows us what the villians who arn't so happt about Normen being large & In charge will do, the story centers aroung the masked character ZODIAC! who has just killed 100 H.A.M.M.E.R. Agents (hammer is sheilds new name under osbeorns leadership by the way) We then go through a seris of flash back seeing zodiac gather up a team of rag-tag b & c list villians to help him with his plans (& discover he killed the origional zodiac gang so he could use the name.) (yeah he's that crazy) so zodiac & he's group of misfits begin there plan to take norman down & how do they start,....well by beating the crap out of the human torch...yeah, I'm sure it'll make since eventually...Dark Reign, all i can say is, when the hell is Cap comin back to kick Norman butt...hopefully soon.
